Perabo's parents known as her fallowing Piper Laurie. Her father is Portuguese and her mother is Norwegian. Her brother, Noah Perabo, is also an actor. Perabo graduated summa cum laude from Ohio University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting.
